Turnbull was hon sec at Redcar Westfield

Jack Turnbull was honourable secretary for Redcar Westfield Football Club in the 1930s. Helped to establish Westfield as the best team in the town during this period, bringing a slew of silverware to the club including the Teesborough League title, Teesborough Bowl, Teesborough Cup and Stead Cup. He regularly wrote columns in the Cleveland Standard, allowing him to spread the word of Redcar Westfield and encourage more spectators.
